Ultrasonic Plunge Cutting System-Tire Rubber Cutting
INTRODUCTION
The SBT Ultrasonic Plunge Cutting System uses the special ultrasonic cutting blades developed and produced by SBT ULTRASONIC. The knifes are able to cut the extruded textured rubber with thickness from 1㎜ up to 22㎜.
The ultrasonic plunge cut process provides the advantage of getting rid of the need to vulcanize the rubber. The tire can be cut with accurate angles from 18° to 30°, considerably increasing the cohesion of the sliced section.
SBT ULTRASONIC has been able to achieve low skive angles in numerous applications with a variety of blade horns. Depending on the application, SBT Ultrasonic Cutting System can tailor a solution to meet the most demanding of customer needs. The rubber cutting kits and components are easily adaptable to existing machine designs.
